Three Quarters Full is an Aquila 48 Powercat with one of the most flexible four-cabin layouts in our bareboat fleet. She accommodates up to 10 guests in four cabins with four en-suite heads, plus a convertible salon, but what makes the layout particularly useful is the ability to change the configuration of the two aft cabins.

Combined with excellent interior space, a spacious flybridge and direct access to a recessed bow seating area, Three Quarters Full works particularly well for families, couples and mixed groups whose sleeping requirements don’t fit neatly into four queen cabins.

Flexible Cabin Configuration

One of our favorite features of Three Quarters Full is the flexibility of her accommodations.

The two forward guest cabins have queen beds, while each of the two aft cabins can be configured as either one queen bed or two separate single beds.

That gives guests several options. Four couples can use four queen beds, while a family or mixed group can instead configure both aft cabins as singles, providing two queen beds and four individual single beds.

All four cabins have their own private en-suite head, so the flexibility in sleeping arrangements doesn’t require guests to sacrifice bathroom privacy.

For groups that need additional sleeping capacity, the salon converts to accommodate two more guests, allowing Three Quarters Full to sleep up to 10. This makes her particularly useful for families with children, multigenerational families and mixed groups whose sleeping requirements don’t fit neatly into four traditional queen cabins.

Spacious Interior Living

The Aquila 48 provides generous interior living space, with a bright salon and galley surrounded by large windows.

The open main-deck arrangement gives the group plenty of room to gather indoors, while the yacht’s different living areas allow guests to spread out when they want their own space.

The combination of four private cabins, a convertible salon and substantial common areas makes Three Quarters Full particularly comfortable and versatile for a full week aboard.

Walk-Through Bow Access & Covered Forward Seating

One of the most distinctive features of the Aquila 48 is the way guests can access the bow.

Steps lead directly down from the helm area to the forward deck, making it easy to move between the flybridge and bow without having to walk around the exterior side decks.

At the bow, a recessed, covered seating area creates a comfortable and protected outdoor space for relaxing, enjoying the view or spending time together on a mooring.

This direct access and sheltered forward seating give Three Quarters Full another substantial social area and are features that distinguish the Aquila 48 layout.

Flybridge & Outdoor Living

The spacious flybridge provides another major gathering area aboard Three Quarters Full, with excellent visibility while cruising and plenty of room for guests to spend time together.

Between the flybridge, recessed bow seating and aft outdoor areas, guests have several distinct places to relax throughout the day. This variety of outdoor spaces works particularly well for larger groups because everyone can gather together or spread out around the yacht.

Dinghy Handling

Three Quarters Full uses an electric winch system to lift and secure the dinghy at the stern rather than a hydraulic swim platform.

The system provides a secure way to carry the tender while underway and keeps the stern arrangement simple and functional for cruising throughout the BVI.

Designed for BVI Cruising

The Aquila 48 combines substantial living space with a particularly practical and flexible four-cabin layout. Direct access between the helm and forward seating area also makes moving around the yacht convenient while underway or on a mooring.

An on-water checkout is included on the first day of every Virgin Charter Yachts bareboat charter to make sure guests are comfortable operating the yacht before beginning their week in the BVI.
