Don’t Blink is an Aventura 56MY designed for larger groups who want exceptional outdoor living space combined with the privacy of five double cabins. At 56 feet, she is one of the largest bareboat powercats in the Virgin Charter Yachts fleet and accommodates up to 10 guests in five double cabins, each with its own en-suite head.

Exceptional Outdoor Living

The biggest difference between the Aventura 56 and Aventura 50 is not the interior layout — it is the additional outdoor space. The interior concepts are very similar, but the additional length of the 56 is concentrated in the aft portion of the yacht, creating a substantially larger aft deck and beach club.

Don’t Blink’s redesigned aft area features molded seating facing the water and a full-beam hydraulic swim platform, creating an excellent place for the group to gather between swims or simply enjoy being close to the water.

The main aft deck has a large dining table with wraparound seating, with enough room for the entire group to dine together outside. From there, guests can walk directly through the salon and out onto the forward deck, where another built-in seating and relaxation area provides a completely different place to enjoy the yacht.

Spacious Salon & Galley

Inside, the open-concept salon provides generous seating and dining space for the entire group, with large windows bringing plenty of natural light into the yacht.

The galley is particularly practical for larger charter groups, with a full-size side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, cooktop and convection microwave/oven. Don’t Blink also has a wine refrigerator, a nice additional feature for entertaining aboard.

Five Double Cabins with Five En-Suite Heads

Don’t Blink’s five-cabin layout is one of the reasons we particularly like the Aventura 56 for groups of couples traveling together.

The primary cabin is located aft on the port side and features a walk-around queen bed. A second queen cabin is located forward to port, with two additional queen guest cabins to starboard. The fifth double cabin is accessed from the aft deck.

All five cabins have their own en-suite heads, allowing up to five couples to charter together without anyone having to sleep in a convertible salon or share a bathroom.

The layout works equally well for larger or multigenerational families who appreciate having private accommodations while still having plenty of common space to spend time together.

Expansive Flybridge

The flybridge is another standout feature of Don’t Blink. There is plenty of seating around the helm, allowing guests to spend time together while cruising between islands, along with multiple areas for lounging and sunbathing.

A wet bar, icemaker and grill make the flybridge another true entertaining space. Combined with the large aft deck, beach club and forward seating area, Don’t Blink gives a group numerous places to spread out during the day.

Power & Handling

Don’t Blink is powered by twin Yanmar 550 HP direct-drive engines and is equipped with a bow thruster. The elevated flybridge helm provides excellent visibility while cruising and maneuvering.

An on-water checkout is included on the first day of every Virgin Charter Yachts bareboat charter to make sure guests are comfortable operating the yacht before beginning their week in the BVI.

Why We Recommend Don’t Blink

For groups comparing our Aventura 50 and Aventura 56 powercats, the biggest reason to move up to the 56 is outdoor living space. The interior layouts are quite similar; the additional length is concentrated aft, giving the 56 a substantially larger deck and beach-club area.

For five couples, larger families or groups of up to 10 who want plenty of room to gather outside, Don’t Blink is one of our favorite large bareboat powercats.
