Professionally operated crewed charter yachts are represented by a management company/clearinghouse. This company is responsible for hiring the crew, ensuring the yacht is licensed appropriately for charter, making sure the yacht has all the necessary water toys and provisions available for each charter etc.
To book a luxury charter yacht, you need to work through a professional charter broker, who has access to all the crewed yachts managed by a wide variety of different management companies. There are hundreds of professional charter brokers in the BVI and Caribbean, and most have access to the same data base of the same independently owned and operated yachts.
As a result, choosing a broker shouldn't simply come down to which website displays the most yachts.
A better question is:

Why Use a Professional Crewed Yacht Charter Broker?
A good yacht charter broker does much more than send you a list of available boats.
Your broker should first understand:

The “best” crew is therefore not necessarily the same for every charter guest.

The best charter yacht brokers are ones that are based in the BVI and know the yachts and crew they recommend personally. Good charter brokers attend the BVI Charter Yacht Society and the Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association charter yacht brokers shows each year. These shows give them a chance to walk the boats and meet the crew personally that they are recommending to the clients.
Should I Contact Several Yacht Brokers?
Usually, there is little benefit to sending the same request to numerous brokers.
Professional brokers often have access to the same crewed yachts, you're better served by choosing a knowledgeable broker you trust and allowing that person to understand your preferences and research the best options.
Also, the luxury crewed yachts are required to keep their prices the same, whether you book through a broker or directly. Brokers are also not allowed to offer any type of discounts or incentives to encourage clients to book with one charter broker over another. So even if you reach out to multiple brokers, they will all have access to the same inventory
The quality of the recommendation matters more than the number of yacht lists filling your inbox.
Should I Book Directly With a Yacht?
Sometimes guests find a particular yacht online and contact it directly.
That can work if you're already certain that the yacht and crew are exactly what you want.
